History : Her mother, Christine White, being kind of poor because of her work as singer in a bar, Kaitlyn has never known luxes or freedom, as her choices in life seemed rather restricted, except music. She always loved music and, even though her mother couldn’t really afford it, the young girl was sent to piano lessons. Christine and the piano teacher, William Knott, became quite close to each other and, after five months of lessons, they decided to marry each other. Even though Kaitlyn enjoyed her new father, she was eleven years old and she became to wonder what had happened to her biological father, but her mother refused to tell anything about him. Two months later, close to her eleventh birthday, she discovered that her Greek teacher was actually a Cyclops and, as he tried to kill her, her English teacher, Chiron, protected her, then guided her to Camp Half-Blood.

Personality : Kaitlyn is a friendly, open-minded, easygoing girl that can sometimes be a little too excited and look like a five-years-old that had a huge doze of sugar and caffeine. She is very popular and could become everyone’s friend, but only her best friends know that she isn’t all rainbows and ponies. "Only one of the closest friends can see the sadness in her eyes, when everybody else believes the fake smile on my lips is real." Despise that she looks like a preppy blonde, she hates to feel inferior and, when she judges you don’t show enough respect, she can become worse than an angry Minotaur.
Hobbies : Kaitlyn is great at archery, just like all her paternal half-brothers and paternal half-sisters, and she can play the piano quite well, but she is also quite skilled at climbing in trees, which she learned because it was her game when she was a small child.
Demigod Abilities : Kaitlyn has Photokenisis, which is a rare skill even for children of Apollo and which means she can manipulate light, and, just like all the other teenagers in her cabin, she also has Vitakinesis, so she can heal more easily than a doctor.
Demigod Weapon : Kaitlyn often wears her earrings, because they can transform into bow and arrows – those which were used by Prince Paris of Troy to murder Achilles.
